A Republican Forum on the topic "Professional Competence – The Evolution of Labor Relations"

A Republican Forum on the topic "Professional Competence – The Evolution of Labor Relations" was held at the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College with the support of the Kyzylorda Region Education Department.

The forum was attended by:

- Deputy District Akim Dauren Tleumbetov,

- Head of the Technical and Vocational Education Department of the Regional Methodological Center, Bibaysha Kydyrkozhakovna Muslimova,

- Youth Affairs Committees of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Department,

- Directors and deputies of colleges training railway specialists from across the Republic,

- Mentoring companies,

- Companies participating in dual training,

- Companies involved in targeted personnel training,

- Local executive bodies,

- Employers' Association,

- Mass media,

- Parents' Committee,

- College graduates.

Objectives:

- To enhance the prestige of blue-collar jobs and implement reform of the technical and vocational education system;

- To renew intergenerational continuity.

Focus Areas:

- Developing an atlas of professions;

- Implementing the concept of career guidance;

- Transforming the TVET system;

- Training qualified specialists;

- Creating high-quality jobs;

- Protecting the rights of workers;

- Improving the image of blue-collar jobs.

Objectives:

- Expanding and developing the college's innovative infrastructure, creating a methodological framework for training specialists in stated competencies;

- Developing an effective system for training specialists;

- Attracting sponsorship from social partners to develop the center's facilities;

- Improving the image of the educational institution;

- Developing dual education;

- Increasing the number of students trained through targeted government procurement in accordance with employer requests.

The event began with the registration of guests from various regions. Our college teachers, Laura Alibekova and Anar Konakbai, registered the forum participants. Participants were provided with badges, as well as special issues of the regional educational and informational newspaper "Kazaly" and the national magazine "Bilim Ainasy," dedicated to the Year of Working Professions and the college's 95th anniversary, where collective articles were published.

The forum began with an exhibition under the "Mirror of Digitalization" section titled

"Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Our Country Needs Your Idea" / Innovative Acceleration with an Idea Matrix.

At the exhibition, college methodologist G. Sarsenbayeva and specialized discipline teachers R.I. Orymbayeva and A.B. Sartai presented their electronic textbooks, original programs, and specialized websites.

The official opening of the forum was conducted by the head of the technical and vocational education department of the regional training center.

During the forum, college director R.Zh. Iztileu and deputy director A.B. Akhmetov introduced the guests to the work of the Competence Center, created to train qualified local specialists and/or retrain workers.

As part of the program, a tour of the college's facilities was conducted. Participants were introduced to the classrooms, workshops, laboratories, and "Zhas Maman" competence centers.

In the "Regulating the Distance Between Trains in Rail Transport" classroom, students presented information on the operation of the equipment in three languages. The classroom was headed by B. Tazhimuratova.

In the "Diesel Locomotive Management and Repair" classroom, the operating principles of a simulator for practical training were presented by the head of the classroom, R. Baytilesov.

In the "Railway Construction" classroom, K. Karymsakova presented models of working miniature railway depots and tracks.

As part of the "Zhas Maman" project, E.K. Makhanova introduced the guests to the operating principles of the "Integrated Rolling Stock Equipment" room and the control methods for 3D modeling devices in the "Rolling Stock Automatic Braking System" room.

K. Abildayev described the operating principles of the "Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering and Microelectronics" laboratory, featuring new measuring and control instruments.

In the "Fundamentals of Digitalization" room, participants were introduced to the latest microprocessor automation units.

In the college's production workshops, Director R.Zh. Iztileu, Deputy Director A.B. Akhmetova, and Senior Foreman M.M. Akniyazov led a tour, displaying products manufactured in service industry specialties, demonstrating the students' professional skills and practical abilities.

In the college workshops, Head of the Turning Shop M. Nurzhigitov demonstrated the art of blacksmithing. Head of the Gas Facilities Laboratory  explained the operating principles of the laboratory.
