On the eve of October 25, the Republic Day, in order to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and select winners for the college's sports team, the traditional XVIII Sports Contest "Sport is the key to health" was held at the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College. The event was opened by the director of the college, sports fan, Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Akhmetov, and wished success to the students of twenty groups who participated in the Spartakiad. The guests of the evening, Director of the Kazaly District Youth Resource Center N. Akpanbetov, athletics coach of the Kazaly District Department of Culture and Sports M. Karabalaev urged students to lead a healthy lifestyle. N.Makhsymova, mother of a second-year student, and world champion in Grappling Know-how, held in Warsaw, Poland, Yahyp Nargiz was awarded a "Letter of Thanks" and valuable gifts from the college administration.
