According to a letter from the Department of Education of the Kyzylorda region (No. 07-03/1014), an educational hour on the topic "Religious extremism is a threat to peace and stability" was held at the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College. The event was organized by the religious studies teacher S.Tolegenov.

Purpose of the event:

Improving religious literacy among minors, explaining the principles of secularism in the academic disciplines of "Religious Studies" and "Jurisprudence", as well as the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism.

Invited experts: The theologian of the Department of Internal Policy of the Kazaly district D.Zharylkasyn and the teacher of the Halyk mosque, theologian Yerlanuly Beknur took part in the discussion. 

Global agenda: The speakers emphasized that the prevention of extremism and terrorism is a global issue today.

Recommendations to students: Special attention was paid to the importance of studying the values of traditional religions. The students were told about ways to protect themselves from the influence of destructive religious movements and the need to improve their personal legal literacy to ensure the safety of society.
