A library hour on the theme "ALASH RUKHY-OKYLGAN KITAPTA" was held in the library of the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College to mark the 160th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding public and statesman of the Kazakh people, leader of the Alash-Alikhan Nurmumeduly Bokeikhan movement

The purpose of the event is to familiarize students with the history of the Alash movement, to explain the historical significance of the activities of the Alash party and the government of Alashord, as well as to popularize the life and socio-political activities of A. Bokeikhan.

In addition, the event was aimed at forming students' national identity, strengthening the spirit of patriotism and love for the Motherland, as well as increasing interest in reading historical and fiction literature.

During the library hour, the librarian spoke in detail about the life of A. Bokeikhan, his scientific and social activities, as well as his contribution to the protection of the territorial integrity of the Kazakh people. As part of the event, a virtual book exhibition on the topic was organized and historical publications were presented for students to familiarize themselves with.

The students expressed their opinions and exchanged impressions on the topic. The event ended with the famous statement by A. Bokeikhan:

"Serving a nation is determined not by knowledge, but by character",

as well as an appeal to young people to strive for knowledge, serve their country and read more books.
