At the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College, in accordance with letter No. 07-16/110 dated 12.01.2026 from the Department of Education of the Kyzylorda region and the Kyzylorda Regional Police Department, an explanatory session on precautionary measures against internet fraud was conducted.

With the development of the internet and digital technologies, internet scammers also keep up with the times and invent new ways to intimidate and deceive citizens to steal money. As noted in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev in the section “Law and Order”:

“Special attention must be paid to internet and phone fraud. It is important to systematically increase the legal and financial literacy of citizens.”

Currently, such schemes have become widespread as intimidation with phrases like “You gave the SMS code,” followed by taking out loans, as well as promises of easy profit through “investments.”

In the Kyzylorda region, 532 cases of internet fraud have been registered, which is +114% higher compared to 2024 (248 cases).
