One of the most important tools for creating a positive public image today is to raise the status of working professions and determine their importance to the state and society.

On September 25, 2025, Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College, on the eve of the professional holiday "October 2 is the Day of Employees of the technical and Vocational, Post-secondary Education System of the Republic of Kazakhstan", will launch a ribbon campaign thanking the former director of the college Bolatbek Abiuly, timed to coincide with two significant dates.

Within the framework of the decade, which began on September 23, various events are planned: challenges, master classes, sports marathons, gratitude campaigns, and video projects.

In this regard, we decided to turn to the rich and multifaceted life story of Akhmetov Bolatbek Abiuly, who devoted 45 years of his adult life to the walls of the college, having worked his way from the master of industrial training to the position of director, and headed the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College for 15 years.

Bolatbek Abiuli was born on September 26, 1965, into a working-class family in Kent, Aytek bi, Kazaly district, Kyzylorda region. Family upbringing gave him a sense of purpose and dreaminess, and he associated his choice of life path with the technical sphere. In 1980-1983, he studied as an Assistant locomotive engineer, then in 1983-1988 he graduated from the Industrial and Pedagogical college in Ufa, and later continued his studies at the Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata.

As a qualified specialist, he made a significant contribution to the development of professional education, combining theory with practice. In particular, in 2007, he became the author of state educational standards in the specialties "Rolling stock", "Wagon inspector", "Electrician for repair of electrical equipment of rolling stock", and in 2011 he participated in the creative group for the development of test tasks in the specialty "Track foreman".

Having gone from a working profession to a leadership position, Bolatbek Abiuli has always remained a mentor and adviser to the younger generation. His professional and life recommendations, fatherly care and support are of particular importance to his successors.

Bolatbek Abiuly's career has been marked by numerous awards: the badge "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the jubilee medal "25 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the badge "Industry Leader", the Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as diplomas "For services to education".

His career developed consistently: in 1988, he began his career at the college as a master of industrial training, in 1994-1998 he worked as a senior foreman, in 2003-2005 – Deputy director for economic affairs, in 2005-2010 – Deputy director for educational and industrial work. In 2010, he was appointed director of the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College. Since December 2, 2024, he has been the head of the M. Salamatov Kyzylorda College of Service and Maintenance.
