"SYMBOLS-TALISMAN OF INDEPENDENCE"
A book exhibition entitled "Symbols - Talisman of Independence" was organized in the library of Kazaly Higher Transport and Technical College on the occasion of the Day of National Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On June 4, 1992, the First President N. Nazarbayev signed the Law "On State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan". This day was the first day in the history of our country that our state symbols - Flag, Emblem, and Anthem were approved. Since June 4, 2007, Kazakhstanis began celebrating this day as the Day of State Symbols. The exhibition's purpose is to glorify and develop Kazakh patriotism, and socioeconomic achievements of Kazakhstan, and to form a sense of respect for the National Flag, Emblem, and Anthem. The exhibition included articles on the history and significance of state symbols, biographies of authors, historical symbols in the country before independence, and articles taken from the pages of periodicals.
