At the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College, in accordance with the plan of internal college activities to strengthen the “Law and Order” ideology, legal awareness‑raising and preventive work were carried out among students on the topic “The Requirement of the Law — the Requirement of the Times”.

The main goal of the event is to prevent offenses among minors, group fights, bullying, extortion, drug‑related crimes and internet fraud, as well as to improve students’ legal literacy.

During the meeting, the head of the juvenile affairs department of the Kazaly District Police Department, Police Major A. Baimakhanov, and the investigator of the juvenile affairs department of the Kazaly District Police Department, Police Captain O. Temir, explained to the students the legal consequences of offenses committed by minors, participation in group fights, and instances of bullying and extortion.

In addition, students were provided with information about precautions against online fraud, the dangers of gambling addiction, modern types of psychotropic substances and drugs, their advertising and distribution via social media, as well as about liability for transporting and distributing them, including for acting as a “courier” or a “drug courier”.

Representatives of law enforcement agencies urged students to comply with the law, avoid committing offenses, refrain from dubious offers, and take responsibility for their own safety.

The event was concluded by G. Kuzembaeva, deputy director for educational work. She emphasized the importance of improving students’ legal literacy and adhering to safety measures.
