On the occasion of September 5 — the Day of the Languages of the People of Kazakhstan — a library hour was organized at the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College on the topic “Language Lessons — together with a Book”.

The purpose of the event was to improve students’ language skills through fiction and reading books, enrich their vocabulary, foster love and respect for their native language, and cultivate an interest in reading.

During the event, a report was presented on the topic “Language is the foundation of the nation,” and a presentation of the thematic book exhibition “Language Lessons” took place. In addition, the participants explored the meaning of proverbs, sayings, and catchphrases.

In the final part of the event, the participants recited excerpts from their favorite books from memory and in an expressive manner, showcasing the beauty of their native language, and exchanged their impressions.

A book is a source of knowledge, and language is the spiritual foundation of the nation. May such educational events continue to foster the younger generation’s interest in books and cultivate respect for the native language!
