“LAW AND ORDER”
At the Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College, in accordance with the plan of internal college activities aimed at promoting the ideology of “Law and Order,” a legal awareness‑raising event on the topic “Law and Order” was held for first‑year students.
During the event, students had the opportunity to learn in more detail about the role and significance of the law in ensuring stability, security, and public order.
The event was attended by the college director, R. Iztiuleu, as well as the senior inspector of the juvenile affairs unit of the local police service department of the Kazaly District Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel M. Begalieva. Representatives of law enforcement agencies provided students with substantive information about the principles of law compliance, spoke about the need to ensure personal and public safety, to adhere to internal regulations, and to be held accountable for their violation.
Special attention was paid to issues related to the prevention of offenses among minors. Students were informed about the responsibility for petty hooliganism, violation of public order, driving vehicles, including cars and motorcycles, disturbing the peace on the streets, showing disrespect to others, being on the street at late hours, bullying and violence, extortion, as well as gambling addiction.
The issue of the spread of modern psychotropic substances and drugs, their advertising via social media, illegal transportation and distribution, including through the use of couriers and so‑called “stashers,” was also addressed. Students were also informed about the risks associated with placing orders through various online platforms and apps, as well as the provisions of the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan that provide for criminal liability for relevant offenses.
At the end of the event, students were encouraged to improve their legal literacy, to know and comply with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to respect the rights of others, and to be aware of their personal responsibility for their actions.
Conducting such preventive measures helps to foster a legal culture among young people, responsible behavior, and a respectful attitude towards the law.
