From April 21 to 23, the grappling championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Pavlodar.

More than 400 athletes participated and competed in the championship. This competition is a selection for the World Championship to be held in Warsaw, Poland.

According to the results of the competition, the team of Kyzylorda region took 1st place in the team report.

Yahip Nargiz, a 1st-year student of Kazaly Transport and Technical Higher College, took 2nd place in grappling /90 kg.
